Who says weddings are only for the weekend? A Wednesday wedding can be just as magical – or even more personal. With more dates to choose from, extra time for preparations, and often better availability among both suppliers and guests, there are many advantages to celebrating in the middle of the week.

 

At Ludvigsdal Gård, we offer the same care, atmosphere, and possibilities no matter the day of the week. Wednesday or Saturday – love remains the same, and your day will be just as memorable as you wish it to be.

Winterwedding in the heart of Österlen
We welcome you to a winter wedding at the magical Ludvigsdal, where the beauty of ice meets the warmth of the heart. Surrounded by the stillness of the winter landscape and the soft glow of the light, we gather to celebrate love and the union of two souls among our dearest. Outside, snowflakes swirl gently through the air, while indoors, hands and hearts are warmed by steaming mulled wine. The scent of cloves, cinnamon, and orange fills the room as guests gather close – laughing, toasting, cheeks glowing, mugs of glögg in hand. A moment of warmth in the calm of winter.

How to play Boule – quick guide
Boule is all about throwing your boule as close to the jack (the small target ball) as possible. You start by placing the jack 6–10 meters away. Then the teams take turns throwing their boules – the team that is furthest away continues until they get closer. When all boules have been played, you count the score: each boule that is closer to the jack than the opponents’ best earns a point for the team that is closest. The first team to reach 13 points wins and also starts the next round by placing the jack.

Singles: 1 vs 1, three boules each
Doubles: 2 vs 2, three boules each
Triples: 3 vs 3, two boules each
